Internationalism has always been a cornerstone of the socialist movement. From Marx’s day through to the heady period of the Russian revolution bodies have been established across national borders to co-ordinate, agitate and organise socialists. The history of these Internationals however has not always been positive. This talk will trace the rise and fall of the First, Second and Third Internationals.
