Democratic President Lyndon Johnson called Vietnam “a raggedy-ass little fourth-rate country”, as he escalated a war of occupation he was sure the US would win. They unleashed hell and killed around 3 million Vietnamese and Cambodians. And yet they were defeated. This session will discuss the heroic resistance of the Vietnamese, the rebellious soldiers, and the mass protests that defeated the US empire.
