Propagandists of capitalism always claim that humans are fundamentally selfish, greedy and individualist. Any careful study of human society will demonstrate that humans have, in fact, lived in many different and diverse communities. This session will explore recent archaeological studies that have revealed pre-class societies which were collective and demonstrate a radically different perspective on what human relationships could look like.
