How we won the right to vote

The vote wasn't handed down by generous benevolent capitalists or enlightened reforming politicians- across the world democratic rights are the product of working class and popular struggle. This talk will focus on the struggle for suffrage in England, the radical working class aspirations that drove it and how the capitalist class constrained real democracy in order to protect their power and privilege.
