This session will given an overview of the year 1917. It will discuss how the Russian revolution radicalised from the February overthrow of the Tsar to the October insurrection. If you only have a cursory knowledge of the events of the year and intend to attend the other sessions at Marxism 2017 on the Russian Revolution this is a must introductory session for you.
